Pandit Shriram Sharma (20 September 1911 – 2 June 1990) was a social reformer, a prominent philosopher, a visionary of the New Golden Era, and founder of “All World Gayatri Pariwar”, which has its headquarters at Shantikunj, Haridwar, India. He is popularly known as Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya by the members of the Gayatri Pariwar.
It is time that we awaken, change our attitude and expand our sensitivities to the changing times by transforming our thoughts. Thought provoking – life transforming literature has been the basis of this mission initiated for transformation of era.

He translated the entire Vedic Vangmaya in lucid Hindi with eloquent comprehensive introductions and accomplished a feat of writing more than 2400 enlightening books in Hindi on all aspects of life. His writings encompass far-reaching, sagacious and feasible solutions to the innumerable problems of today. The Gayatri Pariwar fraternity, Shantikunj Ashram (the headquarters of Gayatri Pariwar), an academy for moral and spiritual awakening; Brahmavarchas Research Institute which strives to synthesize science with spirituality, Akhand Jyoti Sansthan, Mathura, Gayatri Tapobhumi, Mathura and thousands of social reform and sadhana centres (Shakti Peeths) around the globe are other grand contributions of Yugrishi Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya to the modern world.

Mission And Vision
AWGP(All World Gayatri pariwar) is a socio-spiritual non-profit organisation with headquarters at Shantikunj, Haridwar, Uttaranchal, India. The organization is devoted to cultural, ethical, moral, and spiritual awakening of India and was formed by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya , an eminent scholar, freedom-fighter, social reformer, visionary and erudite writer.
AWGP is one of the largest volunteer based mission in the world and has reached out to millions of people from all walks of life. The organization focuses on various programmes for uplifting society and quality of human life like, teaching yoga and Sadhana to awaken divinity in people, improving health of all through Ayurveda and Yagyopathy, women empowerment and awakening, protection of environment through tree plantation programmes and Yagya, eradication of evil customs & deliverance from addictions and so on.
